Isn't it always the way?

Thought I had something to say. Sat down, brought up the page, can't remember what it was.

Bother.

The sound of the voice in my head

For the past few days I've been watching a show from the sixties called 'Fractured Flickers'. The basic premise is that they took silent movie footage, re-edited it, and add their own voices to it. Since it was a Jay Ward Production and I've enjoyed the other Jay Ward Productions I've seen in the past, I figured this would be pretty funny and I was right. Found the entire series on sale at Amazon. Good deal.

The show is hosted by Hans Conreid and the sound of my thoughts has been changing to his voice a lot since I started watching. It's not a bad thing. I just wish I could talk like him, even a little. It's a rich sounding voice and fun at the same time. Hooray for Hans!

Just curious

Do you know anybody that regularly watches any of the Networks' Nightly News shows?

Me neither.

For that matter, I barely watch any of the Local News shows. Seems like such a lot of time to spend to learn so little.

Commercial Weakness

I'm not normally a sucker for commercial spokespeople but I must admit that I'm keen to get the AT&T U-verse stuff because Stephen Root does a commercial for them. I love that guy.

Of course, I did also see a retro-commercial today for A-1 sauce that featured Boris Karloff that made be want A-1 sauce so maybe I'm just in a suggestive sort of place today.
